Starting at Durham…

It’s always odd starting a new job, but I think this is going to be strange doing this remotely. I’ve bought myself a new notebook, pen, and hopefully little things like this will make the difference to provide a break between the monotonous environment of the home office.

I’m really looking forward to getting involved with the Department of Geography and Durham over the next 3 years of the Addison Wheeler Research Fellowship, where I’ll be looking at ‘Digital Decisions’ (see the more detailed post here) and the now quick moving dimensions of offensive cyber and machine learning in the performance and practice of cybersecurity.

I’m very excited to get going and also simultaneously have a breather after my PhD to get things together and think more clearly after a very hectic year.
